Magnum engine with Multi-Displacement System (MDS) that produces 335 hp and 370
lb-ft of torque. The Multi-Displacement System (MDS) can transition from eight
cylinders to four cylinders in .040 seconds. This can improve fuel economy by up
to 20 percent. Both engines are mated to an electronically controlled five-speed
automatic transmission. All 4WD models are equipped with an electric-shift
transfer case that delivers 45 percent of the available torque to the front
wheels and 55 percent to the rear wheels.
